Avoid Carpet Cleaning Scams & Rip-Offs

If it seems unbelievable it is. Carpet cleaning scams and rip offs usually start when these cut-rate cleaning companies come in and pressure you to buy additional services. It looks cheap at first, but not after you finish the add-ons. So the first thing to look out for is:

*Extremely Low Prices for Carpet Cleaning

At Ace Rug we’ve been told by customers that one of our competitors said for an additional charge he could add soap to the water.  Are you kidding? That’s like a car salesman charging you extra for a steering wheel.

These type cleaners are ill equipped, under insured and untrained. Think about the quality of the company you are allowing into your home. If a cheap carpet cleaner is allowed in your home, you will more than likely regret it. A good, reputable carpet cleaning company will not be cheap, but you can rest assured your carpet and your belongings are safe and secure.

* FALSE  Advertising Ploys

Since they can’t compete on quality, service and experience many carpet cleaning companies resort to false advertising to boost their credibility.  Some dry cleaning companies want you to believe “Hot water extraction or steam cleaning damages your carpet”.

FACT!!! Leading carpet manufacturers recommend you have a true professional cleaning company use hot water extraction / steam cleaning to clean your carpets every 12-18 months. If dry cleaning your home’s carpet was indeed the better option, the carpet manufacturers would say so. They do not benefit from telling you otherwise.

Avoid carpet cleaning scams in Raleigh. Trust Ace Rug Cleaning Company and its 50+ years experience to tell it to you straight.
